Family, Findings and Faces

In October of 2015 Mission Gallery had the honor of holding artist Isshoni Delva's first ever solo exhibition entitled 'Family, Findings and Faces'.

Currently residing in Boston, MA Delva is a mixed media artist who concentrates her work in film photography and fiber arts. In this show she presented a selection of work within both these mediums.

Delva has a distinct talent in capturing a beautiful and unique sense of spirit, love, and timelessness within her work. The title of the show speaks to the main subject matter within her photography; her family, her community, and potraiture.  In this show Delva presented a collection of over twenty photographs, a collection of hand spun and hand dyed yarns, individual handwoven fiber works, as well as a full wall fiber installation.

To compliment her work and Mission Gallery aesthetic; there was space set up for audience to participate in fiber working and other creative modalities so all could join in taking something with them from the show if desired.

*Per request of the artist no photography will be posted of the show
